Joe McKnight will be moved back to offense full time after Aaron Berry signed with the Jets on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Joe McKnight has moved back to running back full time after a brief stint at cornerback for the New York Jets, head coach Rex Ryan told reporters Monday.
McKnight moved to the defensive side of the ball to help make up for the loss of Darrelle Revis for the season. The Jets signed Detroit Lions castoff Aaron Berry on Monday to help shore up the secondary.
Fantasy Impact: McKnight had lost out to Bilal Powell for the Jets' backup running back spot, making a move to defense possible in the first place. He as all of three carries for 14 yards this season to date. With the Jets' offense struggling immensely, there is a chance that offensive coordinator Tony Sparano looks to use McKnight's explosiveness to give the team a spark. Wait until the running back actually does something before targeting him off waivers, however.
