Miles Austin gets a touchdown on Monday Night Football, pleasing fantasy owners

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago bears on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago bears on Monday Night Football. Austin appears to be back to form after a hamstring injury slowed him down earlier in the season.

With Dez Bryant making mental errors all night long, Tony Romo seemed to show more trust in Austin. That is a trend to monitor going forward, as Austin has proven to be the more reliable target on a weekly basis.

Fantasy Impact: Miles Austin is still a reliable fantasy wide receiver, considering how much Tony Romo trusts him. Defenses can't really key in on Austin, either, with so many other weapons to worry about on the Cowboys' offense. Still, the offensive-line woes are going to bog down this offense all season long, Austin included.
