Matt Forte left Monday night's game between the Bears and the Cowboys after apparently aggravating his injured right ankle. He was able to return and finish with 52 yards rushing on 13 carries, however. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Forte apparently aggravated an ankle injury early during Monday night's game between the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys, but he was able to return to finish with 52 yards rushing on 13 carries. He also had one reception for minus-3 yards on his only target.
Fantasy Impact: The good news is that Forte appears to be OK after exiting the game on his first carry from scrimmage. Unfortunately, he wasn't very productive for fantasy owners. Forte is normally a PPR monster, but he was ignored in the passing game despite an efficient performance from quarterback Jay Cutler. Owners shouldn't be too discouraged by the performance, as Forte was returning for the Bears after sitting out Week 3. Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars is a potentially strong matchup for the running back.
