Jake Locker will miss the Tennessee Titans' Week 5 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings with a separated left (non-throwing) shoulder injury, a league source tells Titans Insider. Locker also suffered a separated shoulder in the season opener against the New England Patriots, but the quarterback was able to practice the next day and eventually play the following week. The injury may require surgery at some point, according to the Nashville Tennessean.
Fantasy Impact: At this point, Locker appears likely to miss beyond Week 5, instituting Matt Hasselbeck as the Titans' starting quarterback. Be sure to follow up with the no-doubt numerous updates that will trickle out in the days to come. Locker bounced back quickly the last time he separated his shoulder, so hopefully he can come back 100 percent.
