Javon Ringer has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tennessee Titans RB Javon Ringer (knee) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Ringer has already been ruled out earlier, so this news is just an official formality. He suffered a brutal MCL injury in Week 5 and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Ringer has just 26 yards from scrimmage on the season as he has struggled to stay healthy.
Fantasy Impact: Ringer was the would-be replacement for the embattled Chris Johnson, but an elbow infection and now the MCL sprain has scuttled his season. It's uncertain if he will play again this season, even if the Titans somehow find themselves in playoff contention.
Jamie Harper is the backup RB now, and would be the new most popular man in Nashville if CJ struggles again.
