Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is listed as probable for Sunday's match against the Arizona Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is officially listed as probable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Ponder is dealing with a knee injury, but practiced in full all week long. He will be ready to play on Sunday.
Ponder has thrown for over 1,400 yards so far this season to go with eight touchdowns. He also has 90 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground this season.
Fantasy Impact: Ponder is a sneaky fantasy option this week, with a lot of quarterbacks on bye. He has made strides in his second season in the league and should hold up well against Arizona's defense.
Ponder's upside is certainly limited, though, as the Vikings are still centered around Adrian Peterson on offense.
