Pierre Garcon injury update: Doubtful for fantasy owners

Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE

Pierre Garcon is doubtful for Week 7 against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Washington Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot) is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Garcon missed an entire week of practice with an inflamed toe, and is extremely unlikely to play this week.

Garcon has missed three games this season battling various foot ailments.

Fantasy Impact: The Redskins still have no set timetable for his return, and it will be a shock if he's active this week. He hasn't been a viable fantasy play since Week 1, and it would probably behoove the team to just shut him down until after their Week 10 bye.

If (when) Garcon is out again, look for Leonard Hankerson and Josh Morgan to continue as the starting WRs. Whatever fantasy backup plan you were using for Garcon, continue with that plan.
