Ahmad Bradshaw will play in Sunday's game between the Giants and the Redskins, despite a nagging foot injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ahmad Bradshaw will play Sunday when the New York Giants take on the Washington Redskins, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Bradshaw was reported to be a game-time decision earlier on Sunday morning, but multiple sources have now said the running back will be on the field despite a nagging foot injury.
Bradshaw returned to practice Thursday after being held out Wednesday, but was against held out of practice again on Friday. He was listed as questionable heading into the weekend.
Fantasy Impact: At face value, the Redskins are a tough matchup this week for Bradshaw. Washington is giving up just 3.9 yards per carry on the season, and less than 90 total yards rushing per game. Bradshaw carved up the San Francisco 49ers for 116 yards rushing and a touchdown last week, however.
The biggest worry for fantasy owners should be whether Bradshaw will be limited at all during the game. He could benefit from the extra rest, however. Bradshaw has played through pain before, and gave owners every reason to start him as at least an RB2 going forward after rushing for 316 yards over his last two outings.
