Dez Bryant will start Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys play the Carolina Panthers, Evan Silva of Pro Football Talk reports. Bryant was listed as questionable heading into the weekend after missing practice Friday due to a groin injury. He did not miss practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Bryant is coming off a 13-reception, two-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. He has 34 receptions for 364 yards and two touchdowns through five games played this season.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant will play, and should once again be a safe fantasy start as a WR1/WR2 in standard fantasy formats. He has 21 receptions off a whopping 28 targets over his last two outings. The Panthers have a solid pass defense, but that didn't stop Bryant from producing against the Ravens and the Chicago Bears.
While Bryant suffers from all-too-often lapses in concentration, his physical superiority over most defensive backs make him a safe weekly starting fantasy option. Until further notice, he should remain in your lineup.
