Donald Brown is inactive for Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Donald Brown is inactive for Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns as he continues his recovery from a Week 5 knee injury. He also missed last week's game against the New York Jets.
Brown's status will be reevaluated for Week 8, though there is a chance that the running back will miss next week's game against the Tennessee Titans as well. He has 239 yards rushing and a touchdown off 60 carries through four games played on the year.
Fantasy Impact: With Brown out, expect Vick Ballard to once again get a chance to shoulder the Colts' running game. He struggled mightily against the Jets, picking up just 25 yards on eight carries. The Browns have been a sieve up front, however, allowing 4.6 yards per carry and over 130 total yards rushing per game on the season.
Ballard is still an iffy fantasy option. The Colts are a rebuilding offense, and Mewelde Moore and Delone Carter may earn more touches after last week. Consider Ballard a Flex option at best, depending on what the bye week has done to your starting fantasy lineup.
