Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is officially active against the Colts today, after showing up on the injury list this week with an abdomen issue that forced him to leave in Week 6 against the Bengals. Richardson had just 14 carries last week before leaving the game, while Montario Hardesty came in relief and scored a touchdown in the Browns' first win of the season.
Richardson has had a moderately successful start to his career with 526 total yards in his first six games, but on just 3.6 yards per carry.
Fantasy Take: The injury seems minor and, with him being active against the Colts, he's set as a solid RB1 versus a defense ranked last in the NFL in rushing touchdowns scored against and 29th in yards per carry against. He's had a couple of injuries pop up this year but nothing terribly serious and he's been active the whole season.
He's a definite must-start today.
