Andre Johnson is active for Sunday's game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson was a full participant in practice this week, after being limited the week before with a groin injury. He is expected to play a full slate of snaps Sunday.
Johnson has not gone over 100 yards receiving or caught a touchdown since Week 1 of the regular season. He is still heavily involved in the offense, however. Johnson had eight receptions for 75 yards off 12 targets last week against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson always seems to be struggling with some ailment or another, but he appears to be fully healthy going up against a weakened Ravens secondary. The bigger concern is his inability to make plays downfield. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak blamed an inefficient running game earlier this week, but it is also possible that the veteran wideout has lost a step.
Johnson has performed like a WR2/Flex option for most of the season, and until he proves otherwise that might be the best spot for him. He should be a good option this week, going up against a Baltimore defensive backfield that is without Lardarius Webb and Jimmy Smith at cornerback.
