Jimmy Graham is inactive for Sunday's game between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to an ankle injury suffered in Week 5 against the San Diego Chargers. Graham was held out of practice Wednesday, and limited Thursday and Friday before being ruled out.
Graham was initially listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, but was later downgraded to out. It seems clear at this point that he is dealing with more than a minor sprain.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners would have been wise to pay close attention to injury reports throughout the week and prepare for Graham's absence. Daniel Thomas will start at tight end for the Saints, and could be a solid gameday pickup off waivers with Drew Brees targeting him.
Be sure to revisit Graham's status next week. There is no guarantee he will play against the Denver Broncos. If he is given clearance, Graham should move directly back into starting lineups in every format. On the year, he has 25 receptions 252 yards and three touchdowns in essentially just four full games played.
