There is a huge developing fantasy football situation in the Cardinals-Vikings game as LaRod Stephens-Howling has supplanted William Powell as the Cardinals' starting running back. Early in the second quarter, Stephens-Howling has eleven carries for 41 yards and a touchdown while Powell has not touched the ball. This comes a week after Powell rushed 13 times for 70 yards against the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Implications: Fantasy owners will want to wait through the game to see if this is a permanent situation or if Powell will get some snaps of his own in a timeshare. Whatever the case, Powell's fantasy value takes a huge hit. Even if he gets some carries against the Vikings, he is no longer a solid bye week start. The Cardinals' running back situation is officially nebulous at best. Do not immediately jump on LSH, though, as we do not know the full extent of the situation in Arizona.
