Josh Freeman is taking advantage of a great matchup against the Saints defense.
Josh Freeman has been marching down the field all afternoon and has completed nine of his 15 attempts for 122 yards and two TDs with no interceptions.
Freeman is sporting a 125.6 passer rating so far and the Bucs have 202 yards of offense. He is coming off a 124.7 passer rating last week against the Chiefs thanks to a fantastic 12.7 YPA. He had 1,118 passing yards, eight TDs and five picks so far this year.
Freeman and the Bucs wideout are obliterating the Saints secondary and have been picking on Patrick Robinson a litte today. Freeman has hit a total of five receivers in the first half and shows no signs of slowing down. His TDs went to Rutgers product Tiquan Underwood annd Vincent Jackson. Jackson also has been Freeman's primary with his five targets in the first half.
His schedule has been favorable lately, so he isn't likely going to keep up the hot streak going for the rest of the season.
