Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb filled in admirably for Greg Jennings on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, catching eight passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
The second-year receiver has been compared to Percy Harvin, and on Sunday, he showed why. Cobb was versatile, making plays from the slot and out wide. He also showed reliable hands, particularly on his second touchdown, which was an incredible throw from Aaron Rodgers.
Fantasy Impact: Cobb came into the game with 29 catches for 346 yards on the season. His role has been increasing each week, and Rodgers clearly trusts him.
Jennings will return to action eventually, but Cobb has become enough of a playmaker to warrant snaps in this offense regardless.
