Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for a bunch of TDs, but had a back-breaking pick. Seems about right. We break down the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had another Fitzpatrick kind of day. Against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, Fitz completed 27 of 35 passes for 225 yards and three TDs. Pretty good day, right? Well, this is Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has an uncanny ability to throw awful, back-breaking INTs at the worst times.
True to form, Fitz threw one INT to Jason McCourty with 3:03 left in the 4th quarter. The Titans used the ensuing drive to score a TD and defeat the Bills 35-34.
Fantasy Impact: This is just what Fitz does. He'll get his yards and TDs, but the turnovers are always going to haunt him - he's now up to nine INTs on the season.
Fitz remains a low-end QB2 in fantasy as the Bills head into their bye in Week 8.
