C.J. Spiller got 102 yards from scrimmage as he continues to split time with Fred Jackson. We break down the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller had another productive day in the team's running back-by-committee. Against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, Spiller had 12 carries for 70 rushing yards, and added six receptions for 32 yards, for 102 total yards.
The Bills went on to lose 35-34 on a late comeback from the Titans.
Fantasy Impact: As expected, he split equal time with Fred Jackson (Jackson had 17 touches compared to Spiller's 18), but both were productive against the Titans' porous defense. Spiller seems completely healed from his shoulder injury, and he can be considered a solid flex option going forward.
That won't happen any time soon, however, The Bills have a bye in Week 8 and face Houston's imposing defense in Week 9. Spiller and Jackson are iffy fantasy plays there.
