Matt Schaub threw for two touchdowns and 256 yards as the Texans clobbered the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.
Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub had a nice bounce back from his poor Week 6 performance. Against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7, Schaub completed 23 of 37 passes for 256 yards, two TDs and no INTs, for a 100.7 QB Rating. The bulk of Schaub's yards came in the first half as the Texans clobbered the Ravens early, with a 29-3 lead at halftime.
With the game out of hand so early, the Texans kept the ball on the ground in the second half. They went on to win 43-13.
Fantasy Impact: This is the kind of statement game Schaub and the Texans needed after laying an egg against Green Bey. They are unquestionably the best team in the AFC, and Schaub's efficiency has been a big part of that.
Houston gets a much-deserved bye next week. After that, Schaub will take on Buffalo's miserable defense and is a must-start in fantasy leagues.
