Carson Palmer threw just one touchdown pass against the Jaguars. We break down the fantasy implications.
Carson Palmer struggled with his accuracy in Week 7 as he completed 26 of 46 passes against the Jaguars. Palmer finished with 298 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Raiders' overtime win.
In six games this season, Palmer has only thrown multiple touchdowns once.
Fantasy Impact: Hopefully at this point you're not expecting Palmer to single-handedly win any of your matchups. The Raiders offense still can't get much going on the ground, so Palmer isn't really receiving much help.
Next week Oakland takes on the train wreck that is the Kansas City Chiefs. Since just about anyone can run on this team, hopefully Darren McFadden will take some of the pressure off Palmer to open up the passing game. He's basically a matchup play right now.
