Tom Brady went 26-for-42 passing for 259 yards and two touchdowns during the New England Patriots' overtime win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Both of Brady's scores went to his tight end, Rob Gronkowski.
Brady has now thrown 10 touchdowns on the season to just three interceptions. Sunday was just his third game passing for under 300 yards this season.
Fantasy Impact: Brady's day was relatively quiet fantasy-wise by his standards, but it was still pretty solid. He certainly didn't hurt owners against the Jets. There is still no reason to ever take him out of your starting lineup, whatever the matchup.
Next week he will take on a very good St. Louis Rams secondary. The Rams have given up a league-low four touchdown passes this season, while intercepting eight passes. Your backup would have to have a very good matchup for you to consider benching Brady, however.
