Victor Cruz adds late touchdown to finish with big fantasy numbers

Al Bello

Victor Cruz finished with huge numbers against the Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications.

Until late in the fourth quarter, Victor Cruz was sitting on 54 total yards against the Redskins. After a 77-yard touchdown that would ultimately seal the deal for the Giants, Cruz finished with seven receptions for 131 yards and a score.

Cruz led New York with 11 targets, one more than Hakeem Nicks.

Fantasy Impact: His huge touchdown with 1:13 left to play salvaged his fantasy numbers in Week 7. Cruz remains a WR1 even with Nicks back in the lineup, as we can always expect some type of fireworks from him on a weekly basis.

The Giants face Dallas next week, a tougher matchup for Cruz. Still, he should put in another solid performance for your lineup. He went off for 11 catches and 178 yards in his last game against the Cowboys.
