Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris breaks the century mark on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris broke the century mark in Week 7 versus the New York Giants. On Sunday, the 'Skins fell just short of taking down their NFC East rival and Morris was a big part of them being in that game. His consistency and hard-running allows for the Redskins to have a nice balance offensively.
Against the Giants, Morris carried the ball 22 times for 120 yards. The downside about Morris' performance was that he coughed up the football and failed to score a touchdown.
Fantasy Analysis: With a terrific offseason for the Redskins, the young running back emerged in his first year with the team as the starter. Morris won the job and has been doing a pretty nice job for Washington's new-look offense. Mike Shannahan likes to run the ball and Morris carries the load for the team.
Having not been drafted in a number of leagues, Morris has become a pretty nice waiver wire steal. Continue to start Morris as a high-end flex option.
