Cary Emondson-US PRESSWIRE
Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said he isn't sure how much time Maurice Jones-Drew will miss after the running back suffered a foot injury Sunday against the Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey could not say how much time Maurice Jones-Drew will miss due to a foot injury suffered against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, John Oehser of the Jags' official site reports. Jones-Drew was spotted wearing a walking boot, though Mularkey said it was simply precautionary.
Jones-Drew managed just six yards rushing on two carries before leaving Sunday's game. Rashad Jennings picked up 44 yards rushing and a touchdown, and seven receptions for 55 yards in a feature role.
Fantasy Impact: MJD fantasy owners will need to watch injury reports like hawks this week, and will want to do everything they can to pick up Jennings if they weren't already stashing him as a handcuff. Jennings will be the first player taken off waivers in just about every fantasy format.
