Heath Miller had six receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown during the Steelers' win over the Bengals on Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.
Heath Miller had six receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown to help the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. Miller was targeted eight times by Ben Roethlisberger, tying him with Antonio Brown for the second-most of any Steeler on the night. Mike Wallace was targeted 15 times.
Miller also caught a two-point conversion following his score. Through six games, he now has five touchdown receptions. Miller is on pace to smash his personal single-season record of seven set during the 2007 season.
Fantasy Impact: Miller has been a magnet for the ball in the end zone this season. That does not appear to be changing any time soon, considering the way he is being targeted by Roethlisberger. It didn't hurt that Mike Wallace passed up numerous big plays due to his slippery fingers.
Miller is a solid TE1 option in standard fantasy leagues at this point, and can be started with confidence most weeks. A weak Washington Redskins secondary gives him an excellent matchup next week.
