Jake Locker will still be starting at quarterback when he returns. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Hasselbeck is now 2-1 as a starter this season, but Jake Locker will still be the starting quarterback for the Titans when he returns from injury. Head coach Mike Munchak said, "No matter what happened today, nothing was going to change on Jake's situation," in regards to Hasselbeck's strong play against Buffalo.
The Titans seem to be set on Locker regardless of what happens while he's out.
Fantasy Impact: Chris Johnson rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills, so let's not pretend Hasselbeck won the game all on his own. Locker received little help from the ground game before he went down with a shoulder injury.
Those close to the Titans seem to believe Locker will be held out another week as he is still recovering. Check on his status going forward, but expect Locker to start under center when he returns.
