Danario Alexander signs with Chargers, returns to fantasy scene

Danario Alexander has signed with San Diego. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Chargers signed wide receiver Danario Alexander on Monday. Alexander played in St. Louis the past two year, struggling to stay healthy for the majority of his tenure with the Rams.

He caught 46 passes for 737 yards and three touchdowns in 18 games over the past two years.

Fantasy Impact: San Diego's lackluster receiving corps hasn't been very impressive over the first six games this season. Robert Meachem hasn't lived up to the expectations brought with the contract he signed this offseason, and Malcom Floyd is really the only one standing out at all.

Alexander has a tough time staying on the field, so it's hard to get excited about him signing with any team. If you're looking to take a risk on his upside, you could pick him up in deeper leagues. Don't expect much in return, though.
