Mario Manningham returned to practice on Monday and expects to play in Week 8 against the Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.
San Francisco 49ers WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) returned to practice on Monday, reports Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee. The 49ers held normal practice on Monday coming off the Thursday Night game against the Seahawks, and won't practice again until Thursday (they get this week's MNF game against the Cardinals).
Manningham was a last-minute scratch against the Seahawks after injuring his shoulder in Week 6 against the Giants. He fully expects to play on Monday Night.
Fantasy Impact: We'll know more about his Week 8 status later in the week when official practices start, but it sounds like all systems are go for Manningham. His stats are somewhat limited in SF's run first offense, but he's a decent low-end option.
Fantasy owners can pencil him in as a WR4 against the Cardinals.
