Percy Harvin will be limited in practice Tuesday for the Minnesota Vikings due to an apparent knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Percy Harvin will be limited in practice Tuesday for the Minnesota Vikings, head coach Leslie Frazier told the Pioneer Press. Harvin is dealing with a knee injury, according to Frazier, though the wide receiver did not seem to suffer any kind of issue against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
The Vikings are on a short week, with a home bout against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers set for Thursday. There has been no indication yet that Harvin will be limited in any way for the game.
Fantasy Impact: With so little time to rest between Sunday and Thursday, the Vikings may simply be taking the opportunity to keep one of their most vital offensive weapons fresh. Unless you hear otherwise, expect Harvin to handle his usual workload on offense and special teams.
Harvin has been a tremendous fantasy option this season as a do-everything player for the Vikings. He is averaging nearly 93 yards of total offense per game, and has four touchdowns on the year. Plan to keep Harvin in your starting fantasy lineup against a weak Bucs secondary.
