New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was held out of practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw did not practice on Wednesday in order to rest his injured foot. Bradshaw finished last Sunday's win over the Washington Redskins with 43 yards on 12 carries but he did score a touchdown on a short run.
Bradshaw has a history of foot injuries and had carried the ball 57 times in the two games prior to the one against Washington. The Giants face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: This is a rest day for Bradshaw, who was demonstrative in calling for more carries against the Redskins. Fantasy owners should not be concerned about his absence on Wednesday.
Bradshaw had 78 yards rushing and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Cowboys and should get more opportunities to carry the ball than he did against Washington. He is a fringe No. 1 running back in most formats this week.
