The Titans will turn to Matt Hasselbeck again with Locker ruled out. We break down the fantasy implications.
The Titans will again be without quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder) this week against the Colts, giving Matt Hasselbeck another start for Tennessee. Locker had played well in his three starts, but Hasselbeck has led the Titans to wins in each of their last two games and Tennessee is 3-4.
Hasselbeck has 5 TD and 4 INT in three starts (and two games of relief duty,) while Locker has 4 TD and 2 INT in four starts.
Fantasy Take: Hasselbeck has performed especially well for a 37-year-old, but that's all in the context that he's 37. Locker has 7.4 yards per attempt this year, which is considerably higher than Hasselbeck's mark of 6.0. If Locker starts, he's a worthy fantasy player but Matthew is a riskier play. If you've got the "Bye Week Blues" at quarterback though, the Colts have allowed 12 TD and only 2 INT on the year.
