Jimmy Graham limited again for Saints, fantasy value steady for Week 8

Chris Graythen

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle) was limited again on Thursday in practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was limited again on Thursday because of an ankle injury. Graham, who missed last weekend's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, also practiced Wednesday on a limited basis. He has been dealing with a sprained right ankle.

Coach Joe Vitt said Graham looked very good in practice on Wednesday and the veteran tight end was "about the same" on Thursday. The Saints face the Denver Broncos in Week 8.

Fantasy Impact: Graham hasn't been much help to fantasy owners over the last few weeks but it sounds like he's close to returning after missing last weekend's game against Tampa Bay. The Saints have started to throw the ball more effectively of late and having Graham back will help.

Fantasy owners shouldn't have too much to worry about but should monitor the injury reports as the game gets closer. If active, Graham is a No. 1 fantasy option at tight end.
