Percy Harvin finished as a top performer once again in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.
Even with Christian Ponder struggling throughout the night, Percy Harvin managed to put up another impressive stat line in Week 8. Harvin finished with seven receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets.
The Buccaneers focused on cutting off quick out routes to Harvin at times, but he still found a way to lead his team in receiving.
Fantasy Impact: It doesn't matter what Minnesota's offense is doing, Harvin is going to find a way score plenty of points for his owners. He connected with Ponder on a nice fade route for a score in the second quarter. Aside from that, most of his points came from him turning bubble screens into huge chunks of yardage.
The Vikings are dedicated to keeping Harvin involved as much as possible every week. You should feel confident with him as a WR1 against any opponent.
