Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray (foot) missed practice again on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray missed practice again on Friday and will almost certainly be ruled out for Sunday's game with the New York Giants. Murray injured his foot in Week 6 against Baltimore and did not play last week against the Carolina Panthers.
Felix Jones (knee) will again start for the Cowboys, who beat the Giants in the opening week of the season thanks in large part to 131 rushing yards from Murray. Jones had 74 total yards last week in relief of Murray.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners have had all week to prepare for Murray's absence, as many grabbed Jones last week off the waiver wire. Dallas and fantasy owners would certainly like to have Murray available this week but that isn't going to happen.
Jones, meanwhile, remains a decent No. 2 fantasy option for Week 8 against the Giants.
