Stew Milne-US PRESSWIRE
Branden Bolden has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.
New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's London game against the St. Louis Rams. This news is just a formality, as Bolden didn't practice all week and wasn't expected to play. Bolden left the Week 6 with his knee injury and hasn't played since. There is still no timetable for his return.
Bolden has 234 rushing yards and two TDs on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Is Bolden a one-week fantasy wonder? Possibly. Stevan Ridley is in no danger of losing the starting job, and Shane Vereen is now healthy and splitting carries with Danny Woodhead as the backup.
It's unclear when Bolden comes back, and it's unclear what his role will be going forward. Fantasy owners should probably drop him.
