Laurent Robinson will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Green Bay Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Laurent Robinson will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Green Bay Packers as he makes his way back to the field from a Week 4 concussion, the Florida Times-Union reports. Robinson was limited in practice throughout the week.
Even if Robinson is marked active for the game, Jags head coach Mike Mularkey said that the wide receiver will play limited snaps. Robinson has to work his way back into game shape after a long layoff.
Fantasy Impact: The Jags are hoping Robinson's return can spark a passing attack that ranks last in the NFL averaging just 145 yards per game. Though he will have to jockey for attention with Cecil Shorts, Robinson was targeted 15 times through the team's first two games.
Even at 100 percent, Robinson does not make for a great fantasy option in standard leagues. Though Blaine Gabbert seems to be improving, he is still far off the elite quarterbacks in the league. Robinson is a Flex starter at the very best.
