Brandon Bolden injury update: RB ruled out with knee injury, fantasy value zero

Stew Milne-US PRESSWIRE

Brandon Bolden will miss Sunday's game in London between the Patriots and the Rams due to a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brandon Bolden will miss Sunday's game in London between the New England Patriots and the St. Louis Rams due to a knee injury. Bolden was held out of practice the entire week due to the injury suffered in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Stevan Ridley is once again expected to handle the rushing load out of the Patriots' backfield. Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead should also see touches going up against a Rams front giving up 99 yards rushing per game.

Fantasy Impact: Bolden was a hot waiver wire pickup after rushing for 137 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. The knee injury has prevented him from paying any real dividends to fantasy owners, however.

With Woodhead in the fold and Vereen getting healthier, it's hard to say what Bolden's value will be once he is healthy. You're better of staying away from him in fantasy leagues for now.
