Jordy Nelson injury update: Fantasy value decreases with 'questionable' status

Troy Taormina-US PRESSWIRE

Fresh off a dominant two-game stretch in which he caught four touchdowns, Jordy Nelson is in danger of missing the Packers' Week 8 game with a hamstring injury.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Nelson had a hamstring issue arrise this week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and missed practice on Thursday and Friday.

Nelson has come on strong in the last two cames, catching four touchdowns in that span. He has 40 catches for 523 yards and five touchdowns so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Jordy Nelson was starting to live up to his preseason hype in the last two weeks before this hamstring injury reared its ugly head. The outlook is not promising, as Nelson has not practiced in full all week.

Keep an eye on this leading up to game time. If Nelson starts, he has an excellent matchup against a banged up Jaguars secondary.
