Rob Gronkowski is expected to play Sunday in London when the Patriots take on the Rams despite a nagging hip injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Rob Gronkowski is expected to play Sunday in London when the New England Patriots take on the St. Louis Rams. Gronkowski is listed as questionable heading into the game after being limited in practice throughout the week with a nagging hip injury, but the tight end has played the past few weeks despite the same designation.
Gronkowski now has five touchdown receptions on the season after catching two last week against the New York Jets. He has caught at least five passes in five of seven games played in 2012.
Fantasy Impact: It is clear that Gronkowski's hip isn't 100 percent, but he has been listed with the injury and limited in practice for a while now and it hasn't affected his workload on Sundays. With Aaron Hernandez out due to a setback with his ankle, expect Gronkowski to see even more targets than usual in London.
Gronkowski remains one of the best tight end prospects in fantasy football, and remains a weekly must-start in most formats as long as a new ailment doesn't rear its ugly head.
