Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is probable for today's game. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was listed as probable on the team's injury report on Friday. The Colts rookie quarterback practiced in full on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Despite a minor knee injury, Luck is expected to start when the Colts go on the road to face the Tennessee Titans today.
Luck has been the team's savior, showing great promise in his first year with the team. The 2012 No. 1 overall pick has not missed any time since his inception into the league.
Fantasy Analysis: Luck is panning out to be a better option than most expected him to be in his first year. While rookie QB's are not usually a viable option in fantasy, Luck has been statistically better than a lot of veteran quarterbacks. If your quarterback is on a bye week or you like the Colts' match-up, feel free to start him.
Luck is going to sling the ball 30-plus times a week, and is already no stranger to 300-yard games. Consider Luck a viable match-up play today versus a suspect Tennessee team.
