We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 8 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.

The 3-3 Indianapolis Colts travel to face the 3-4 Tennessee Titans on Sunday in an intriguing AFC South battle. The Houston Texans are looking like they will run away with the division, but the Colts and Titans are in the thick of the AFC wild-card race. In order to prepare you for fantasy football each week, we are adding game-by-game projections courtesy of numberFire.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have surprised many folks in 2012 as they are providing some consistently strong fantasy performances, most notably from Andrew Luck and Reggie Wayne. Luck is making all the necessary throws and showing just enough scrambling ability to be a strong fantasy threat. At the same time, it is worth noting that in a small sample size to date, his road numbers are not nearly as good as his home numbers. Ideally he will iron that out, but numberFire's projections reflect uneven performances on the road.

Reggie Wayne has risen from the grave to become one of the best fantasy wide receivers in 2012. He is Luck's go-to guy, and is a must-start every week. Even in week's Luck has struggled, Wayne has gotten plenty of looks. Start him with confidence.

Donald Brown was back in practice this week, with full practices on Thursday and Friday, but it remains to be seen what his role will be after missing the last two weeks with a knee injury. He and Vick Ballard are facing a bad Titans rush defense, but without knowing Brown's role, it is a tough call.

Tennessee TItans

The Titans are going to be without Jake Locker for the fifth straight week, as he has been ruled out with his shoulder injury. Matt Hasselbeck is a solid bye week fill-in option against a bad Colts defense and will have his full complement of wide receivers.

The big surprise recently has been Chris Johnson. The man formerly nicknamed CJ2K has three strong games in his last four appearances, taking advantage of some very weak defenses. Expect more of the same, although Jamie Harper remains a problem, stealing three touchdowns in the last two weeks. CJ2K is a must-start this week, but remember that Harper likely will steal a touchdown or two from him.
