Joseph Morgan injury update: Ruled out and still no fantasy value

J. Meric

Joseph Morgan has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Broncos. We break down the fantasy implications.

New Orleans Saints WR Joseph Morgan (chest) has been officially ruled out for Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. Morgan was limited in practice all week, suggesting he may be "questionable" at worst, but was later scratched from the game on Friday. It's possible he suffered the chest injury on his highlight reel 48-yard catch against the Bucs in Week 7.

Morgan has only three catches on the year, but he made the most of them, with 133 yards and two TDs.

Fantasy Impact: Hopefully none of you fantasy owners were tempted to pick him up after seeing his incredible TD catch make the SportsCenter and Twitter rounds. Morgan remains buried on the depth chart behind Marques Colston, Lance Moore and Devery Henderson.

Morgan still belongs on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues for now.
