Wes Welker is active for Sunday's game in London between the Patriots and the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.
Wes Welker is active for Sunday's game in London between the New England Patriots and the St. Louis Rams. He was listed as questionable heading into the game with an ankle injury. Welker was limited in practice throughout the week.
There is no word yet whether Welker will be limited in any way for the game. He played full snaps the last few weeks despite being listed with the same injury, however.
Fantasy Impact: Expect Welker to assume his usual large role within the Patriots' offense. He hasn't been limited anywhere else except practice despite the lingering injury, and has more than 100 yards receiving in four of his last five games.
Welker remains a must-start in most fantasy formats, though it should be noted that the Rams could be a tough matchup for him. St. Louis has been very good against the pass this year, allowing seven touchdowns and hauling in eight interceptions through eight weeks.
