Ryan Tannehill injured his left quad in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Jets. The injury doesn't appear to be serious and he is questionable to return. Matt Moore will take over at quarterback while Tannehill is on the mend.
Tannehill was sacked by the untouched Calvin Pace and he hobbled to the sideline. He was immediately worked out by training staff, the was on the stationary bike to try and get loose. Tannehill exits the game with 18 yards on 2-of-5 passing attempts.
Tannehill has a passer rating of just 76.5 based on his stats of 59.6 completion percentage, four TDs, six picks and 1,454 yards.
Matt Moore might be better suited for the to start in the short term and his short-passing approach may be a better way to cut down on turnovers and clock control. Reggie Bush has already been rushing the ball effectively at the time of the injury.
