Matthew Stafford threw for 352 yards and three TDs in a win over the Seahawks. We break down the fantasy implications.
Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford had probably his best game of the season in Week 8. Against the Seattle Seahawks, Stafford completed 34 of 49 passes for 352 yards, three TDs and one INT.
His third TD of the game came on a last-minute 1-yard strike to Titus Young as the Lions came back to win 28-24.
Fantasy Impact: The Seahawks have one of the best secondaries in the league, but Stafford did a good job picking them apart over the middle and getting big third downs.
Through seven games, Stafford is on pace for 4,818 yards, but just 18 TDs and 16 INTs He is an inconsistent fantasy option, but he'll always rack up the yards and occasionally find Megatron. Continue trotting him out as a QB2 against the Jaguars in Week 9.
