Titus Young caught nine passes and two TDs in a big win over the Seahawks. We break down the fantasy implications.
Detroit Lions WR Titus Young had a career game in Week 8. Against the Seattle Seahawks, Young caught all nine passes on nine targets, for 100 yards and two TDs. He first found the endzone in a big 46-yard play in the second quarter.
Young's second score came with just 20 seconds left, on a 1-yard strike from Matthew Stafford that gave the Lions the lead for good, winning 28-24.
Fantasy Impact: With Calvin Johnson occupied by the Seahawks' Pro Bowl corners, Young exploited their weak nickel/dime options over the middle and rewarded fantasy owners patient enough to stick with him.
Young has been struggling with injuries and inconsistency this year, but with him healthy and Nate Burleson done for the season, he could step up in the Lions' offense. Consider him a WR3 against the Jaguars in Week 9, with big upside.
