Russell Wilson tossed two TDs in a loss against the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.
Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson had possibly his best game of the season, but that's not saying much. Against the Detroit Lions in Week 8, Wilson completed 25 of 35 passes for 236 yards, two TDs and one INT, for a 96.8 QB Rating. Wilson led the team to a game-leading drive late in the 4th quarter, finishing with a 16-yard strike to Zach Miller.
The Seahawks defense couldn't hold the lead, however, as the Lions came back to win 28-24.
Fantasy Impact: Aside from the interception, this was arguably Wilson's most efficient game, but that still isn't translating into reliable fantasy production. He's still a third-round rookie playing like a third-round rookie.
Wilson remains little more than a desperate spot start as the Seahawks take on the Vikings in Week 9.
