Clyde Gates had a nice day against his old team. Should fantasy owners even care?

Clyde Gates had a nice fantasy day against his old team with seven catches for 82 yards in Sunday's ugly loss to the Dolphins.

Gates entered the game with just two catches for 37 yards on the season and only four catches for 56 yards in his entire career.

Fantasy Impact: Gates is best known for being cut by Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland on HBO's Hard Knocks. Gates was also a darkhorse to win the WR1 job for the Dolphins during OTAs, but he quickly fizzled out.

He tied the team high with 11 targets and lined up in multiple spots on the field. There obviously is a long way to go for fantasy owners to consider him as an add in even the deepest of leagues. He's on the radar and may have some positive news as the Jets enter the bye for Week 9.
