Stevan Ridley ran all over the St. Louis defense. We break down the fantasy implications.
Stevan Ridley managed another 100-yard game in Week 8, rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. He broke off several big runs, including a 41-yarder that marked his longest run of the season.
Shane Vereen saw seven carries, and while he too found the end zone, Ridley is clearly locked in as the No. 1 back.
Fantasy Impact: The Patriots offense looks like it can run and throw at will. Ridley is back to putting up impressive numbers after two mediocre weeks, and his 8.5 yards per carry in Week 8 will certainly have New England looking to keep feeding him the ball.
You'll need a replacement for Ridley when he's off next week, but look for him to continue his strong running in Week 10 against the same Bills defense that allowed Chris Johnson to absolutely explode.
