Matt Hasselbeck went 22-for-29 passing for 237 yards and one touchdown during the Titans' overtime loss to the Colts on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Matt Hasselbeck went 22-for-29 passing for 237 yards and one touchdown during the Tennessee Titans' loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Hasselbeck found nine different receivers on the day. He hit Kendall Wright for a 23-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
Hasselbeck has thrown four touchdowns to two interceptions since becoming the Titans' starter due to a Jake Locker injury. Locker could be returning soon, relegating Hasselbeck to the bench.
Fantasy Impact: Hasselbeck has gone 2-2 as the Titans' starter, and while he hasn't been terrible, he hasn't really been an upgrade over Locker either. With Locker back in practice, expect him to resume his starting post in short order.
You have to be desperate to start Hasselbeck in any capacity at this point. Avoid him (or Locker for that matter) at all costs with the Titans hosting the Chicago Bears in Week 9.
